An Update for New Cross Gate

Hi everyone, and happy Saturday!

In the past couple of weeks, we have ramped up our foot patrols for areas where concerns were raised in last month's Ward Panel meeting. This included Eckington Gardens and areas on/around the C10 Cycle Path. It has been lovely to bump into some of you, and we will continue to show our faces in those areas when we get the chance.

We have also responded to violent crimes in our ward, including a robbery. Yesterday, we also conducted high visibility patrols in Lewisham Town Centre, where there were concerns of students planning to participate in the recent ‘Red vs. Blue’ social media trend, which encouraged students to engage in violence against students from rival schools.
